Decathlon, Revival Challenge x Wwwesh Studio

November 2020 — the second lockdown. An ideal moment to connect with our community on social media.

  • That’s when the idea was born: a creative challenge in collaboration with WWWESHSTUDIO. Participants had 6 days to IMAGINE AND DESIGN THEIR OWN VERSION OF THE DECATHLON REVIVAL SNEAKERS.
    The community would then vote to elect the winner, who would bring their concept to life alongside the Decathlon design team at Footwear Industrial Division (FID) in Lille — and with the support of WWWESHSTUDIO.
    This challenge turned out to be one of our most engaging community activations, right up to the final stage: the prototyping of the winning designs by Adrien and Maximin.
    Fun fact: we later hired the designer behind one of the finalist pairs!
